The turbines incorporate a condition monitoring system to provide a predictive maintenance capability. - It is a 1000kW tidal turbine, capable of working in a depth between 35-100 meters with a production cap. over 3,1 GW per year, operating on a nominal speed of 5-10 rpm. The turbine height is 32,5 meters and rotor diameter of 21 meters. The rotor type consist on 3 open bladed with a swept area of 300-500m2. Use a induction generator with a nominal output of 500-2000kW. The weight of the nacelle is approximately 130t, the substructure around 150t and the installation is made with a heavy lift vessel/barge(with ROV support) The turbine lifetime is 25 years with service maintain every 5 years.
